Dear Friends in Christ,
At The River 2008, people of the Pelican Rapids area will come together and worship Christ as a community of faith. At The River 2008 will be held on July 19, 2008, outdoors at Trinity Lutheran Church. This year there will be a local group, called At The River Band, beginning worship at 5:00 p.m. with the headliner bands, Heart of the City, Mandisa, and Freddie Colloca, performing throughout the rest of the evening
At this time we are in need of financial support to provide this concert free of charge to the community. Last year we prayerfully asked for enough to cover the costs of the event and the finances worked out perfectly. What an amazing act of God! This year we are seeking contributions from sponsors such as yourself in the hopes of meeting the financial needs of the concert in a timely manner. On the attached sponsorship form, in the event you would like to contribute, you will see different levels of sponsorship being sought. We would be honored if you would be willing to help in this fashion.
One additional way in which we raise money for this event is an auction. We are having an auction on July 13, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church parking lot. If you have any items which would be beneficial to the auction, this would be another way in which to assist with the concert expenses.
